Incoming "if you can't pay cash you can't afford it" people.
Good philosopy however if everyone went with that there would be no harley davison cause i doubt that most people riding a HD can afford to pay cash.

In the "fine print"
Subject to credit approval with Eaglemark savings bank. 4.49% promotional APR rate, maximum term of 60 months and 10% down payment required.

Ok, the 4.49% is pretty good. But I'd have to ask what they mean by promotional rate?
Does that rate last the full 60 months? Probably not the, by the way it's listed.

But if it did, then not such a bad deal.

Now the other "catch".
The line "Subject to credit approval by Eaglemark Savings bank".
I'll bet only those with credit scores over 740 will qualify for that low rate.

I can get lower than that with no stipulations from our credit union.

My credit union made me a pretty good offer thursday. Since everything is going to hell at the moment, think it's time to get a big twin

it would be nice to be able to pay cash for a bike, but i don't mind spreading my cash around for different things.
with a promotion like that i'd find out for sure if that rate would be locked in for the whole term..

Greetings,

I think this is the sign of things to come. I've said all along Harley needs to do something on the credit-end of things to be competitive. I'm just curious how low will it go after the middle of January when this promotion ends?
