When they arrive, look on the sidewall for inflation pressure. It will be near the bead, much like on your car tires.

I realize you are asking for an opinion. Go with that of the manufacturer's. IMHO

It'll probably depend a bit on your bike and it's weight but on the Sporty I run 36 front, 40 rear, which is what I was told by the guys who put them on.

You'll love the tires. It'll feel like a totally different bike!

Contrary to the above post, the pressure listed on a tire sidewall is the MAXIMUM allowable pressure. It is not the recommended running pressure which is based on the vehicle weight plus rider & baggage weight.

See the tire manufactures website for pressure information.

I was always told, on motorcyles, to go by the 10% rule. Look on the sidewall for the maximum pressure, then inflate to 10% lower than maximum pressure.

The same tire that I run on the rear of my Sporty also is the specified tire for a Goldwing. Under your theory, my tire should be run at the same pressure as the one on a Wing loaded with baggage and running 2up? I think not.

Careful hear, this is for maximum weight when at cold temperature. If you are talking about the Venom X, they like pressure and are resistant to cupping if you keep the tires up in the 40-42 psi range. Seems a bit high for those who are used to running Dunlops or Metzeler but this is the only way you will keep them from cupping and they will give you some solid miles too.
