That bike looks like it was babied. I recommend what everyone else has already said.

Looks like a 'keeper' to me. Price is good (comparing it to what they are going for up here) Make a couple of calls, as suggested.

Bought 'most' of the chopper sight unseen, cept for one pic on Cycletrader, from a guy in Tuscon.
Bought the FLH sight unseen, cept for 2 pics on Craigslist.
BUT then I buy them with the express intention of redoing them, not turn key and ride.
BUT there are exceptions to EVERY rule. Just made the deal for this one, sight unseen until AFTER the deal was made. But hard to go wrong at 2217 miles, and owned by the same lady since new. Best part, it's ready to roll. NOW that's a new one for me.

Looks a really nice bike, miles shouldnt be a problem,it looks like its been looked after but be careful as pictures can make a bike look a whole lot better than it really is.

No doubt it's nice looking with low miles but my 2 bits, I would never pay that much money for something without checking it over personally first.

Do your homework and know what you're getting into if you're serious.

what kinds of things should i ask him about this 2000 softail? its kinda old, and i wont be able to work on it myself. im not worried about throwing a few bucks at it to get it right, but i dont want a money pit if ya know what i mean. maybe i should look at something newer? its just that the 09's are expensive, and the old lady wont let me blow 15-20k right now. i thought it looked clean for being almost 9 years old, and is almost half the price of an 09' low rider im looking at. not to mention it spoke to me over the internet. it wants to come home... anyways, what should i ask this guy about? maybe im getting in over my head? thanks for any help fellas.
