suggestions for cleaing a bike in cold
took it out for a ride and it drizzled out and now the bike has water spots. don't like washing it when it is below 35 or when there is snow on the ground. actually don't like washing it when it is below 50.
so it stayed cold and now the bike is away with dirt on it.
how bad is that. s-100 said don't put corression inhibitor on it unless it is clean cause you might trap moisture and it would corrode anyway.
any suggestions on washing it when it is cold?

Or just work fast! get it clean, use a leaf blower or something like that then wipe it down with a detail spray. I've done it about an hour! just don't stop moving.

You didn't menton if you had a garage, if you do then why not a rag bath? Spray down with a spray bottle then rag with soapy warm water, rinse with clean water/rag and dry. That would be the alternate way of washing with a hose. I've seen Europeans cleaning their vehicles in the same manner.

I have hot & cold water in the garage and 2 floor drains. My garage also has R-11 insulation in the walls and R-40 in the ceiling. When I park a warmed up car in the one bay the heat soak is enough to keeep it 40*F + when it is 15*F outside. So I can wash it normally and dry with my Toro electric leaf blower. If I keep the doors closed the floor will dry in 2-3 hours.
