Use the spray cleaner on the paint surface? Or just the chrome?

Is cold bad for the paint? I was told by a bike painter that heat makes the paint finish more susceptable to scratches. By extension I always assumed that cooler temperatures would be safer for the paint. Is that wrong?

You're worried about water spots?.....Heck, I still got guts all over the underside of mine from running over a deer back in October.....When you're finished with yours, come over to my house & do mine....I'll supply the beer.

Don't worry about it. The dirt helps protect it from harmful insects.

Wait until a 30 degree day, then use car wash solution and hot water. Dry things off with a cycle dryer or leaf blower.
