Default Rideing clothes v.s. work clothes

I wear dickies shorts, t-shirt & high top sneakers @ work.
I wear steel toe boots, levis & heavy leather jacket when rideing.

I work @ a retail store & don't have many options for changeing clothes.
In the cold weather it's o.k. becase I drive the Dodge 4X4 in my shorts & can wear the summer cloth's. But come summer time, when rideing the bike....
I just can't see myself wearing assless chaps & a pair of shorts, just seems wrong.
Any ideas?

Coveralls....or get yourself a pair of textile riding pants, in a size larger than you'd wear. Slip them on over your shorts or whatever, and you can still wear your jacket if you want. I'd ditch the steel toe boots...they aren't needed for riding a bike. There are lots of short boots appropriate for riding that are comfortable enough to wear all day.

Do you have a locker there or a place to keep your personal belongings??
If you did I would say keep a few pairs of pants or shorts and a couple shirts at work and just change in the can.Otherwise just backpack it everyday.
I work in the office (upper management) of a meat plant,it's a casual enviroment.I ride everyday I can to work so I wear denim jeans, one of my 20 or so black T's and my boots everyday. My personality more than makes up for my "Biker Trash" appearance and the boss doesn't seem to mind.

Ride on...

I change in the bathroom at work. There are no lockers so I bring a change of clothes in a bag and keep it at my desk. If I can keep my boots looking presentable I can avoid having to bring shoes.

The longer I can keep my business casual clothes in good shape, the more money I have for chrome.

When I ride to work, the folks in the office get to spend the day with me in jeans boots, t-shirt, and a doo rag. They expect it at least a couple days a week

I'm a retail manager and at work I have to wear nice shoes, khakis, button up shirt and tie. I just keep my work shoes there and change shoes when I get there.
