I'm lucky enough to be able to wear T-shirt, jeans, and company issued steel-toed boots to work, exactly what I ride in anyway.

Are we so insucure that we are afraid what we wear will offend? Wear what you want, when you want. Is it so hard to be a bike rider? No, we each just make it so.
Approval of our peers has gotten out of hand, cant you be a indiviual? come on, stop the madness. L.ray

I have to dress in between business casual and a suit. I ride several days per week, 60 miles round trip. I put my shoes in my saddlebags, wear chaps over my slacks, and wear a jacket over my button down, tucked in long sleeve shirt. I just change into my work shoes when I get to the office and keep a comb in my office.

I say wear the chaps over the shorts. Unless they're short shorts (Daisy Dukes), how will anyone know they're not long pants?

Just wear the work clothes while riding. What is the worst that will happen?

If it's not "Casual Friday" I usually just leave a change of clothes in my office.

I just wear jeans unless I am in the yard working, or on the golf course in July, or was it August Been told to just keep the spindly bird legs covered. I don't get to ride the bike to work but I am a little vain and try to change to some Sunday go to meeting jeans before I ride after I get home. If it's late I will wear work Jeans. Shorts and sneakers have no place on a bike. Road rash and broken ankles are not a pretty sight
