Well after reading all your inputs I now know what happened. Talked to dealer late yesterday and was told they used cleaner to take blue off of new whitewalls. They got some on wheels while doing so. They are going to pull the wheels back off and have them polished again!!!

What a deal! Saves you much hassle but at least you'll know how to prevent it from happening again and how to fix it if it does.

never-dull and a little elbow grease, I have the fancy ala. rims on my triumph and about 2 hours and they sparkle again, my harley has the orginal ala rocker boxes and cam cover, look like new and it is a 99 with lots of time in rain, couple of hours work and they look like new, to me the stock ala kept clean looks better then chrome and it tells the world, hey I keep my bike clean, chrome is easy to clean compared to ala. Chrome is the lazy mans way out. good looking ala. says I care enough to go the extra mile!! OK, all you chrome freaks blast away
