Are they just rumors?

There are five dealerships in West Virginia. Morgantown, Nutter Fort, South Charleston, Hico and Huntington plus one right on the Ohio/WV border in Marietta, OH. All six of these seem to be holding their own. Only time and customer loyalty (read as good customer service) will determine if they all survive.

#1 seller and largest can have two different meanings or criteria. I would think that #1 seller would be based on gross sales (bikes plus everything else) and largest could mean several things like sq. ft, units sold, market hype.

Dealership in Apeldoorn (central Netherlands) closed in September and combined with Amsterdam - lots of inventory as a result so hard to tell if much is moving. Amsterdam dealer was open last Sunday; mucho public in spite of snow. Service is personal but then I've bought 4 bikes off him since 2000. Dealer in Amersfoort claims to be #5 in Europe in terms of sales - nice layout. Dealer in Alkmaar could use new location; good guys - good service. Don't know about the others but there are 11 dealers in NL with total sales of 1300 bikes per year so they got to be makin' their bucks on accessories, service & clothing.

the local dealer was throwin them out the door this time last year, but when i go in i see the same byks that have been there for months, they say there doin 7-10 a week still massif drop on last year. they will also deal on new & used stock, they droped the price of a cvo springer £1k, if i wanted it but still to rich for this poor farm boy! my buddy whos a salesman there said they need to sell units to reach target, if they do they get a£300k bonus of the moco.
