I'd try to buy last week in December if you can swing it.

 

Never paid msrp or more and never will. If the dealer wont move then try the next one.

This bike $2000 off msrp and no freight.

 

I got $1500 off MSRP when I bought my '08 Custom Softail 105th edition and they also gave me a $500 gift card, and paid for the riders edge training class. The only catch was they wanted %10 down (2k) but thats what I was expecting anyway.

 

MOST dealers are doing at least $1,000 - $2,000 below MSRP on any left over 2008 models.
If your dealer is not one that is doing this, then they are probably not a very fair place to do business with for anything else either.

By the first week of January, if they still have any 2008's left you should get even more off.

But you probably won't get much below (if at all) on any 2009 model.

 

My dealer through in a few accessories for my 09 FatBoy which amounted to about 1,000.
