Boots. It'd feel weird to wear anything but. I've got two pair of very comfortable boots, wear 'em all day long.

The only time I wear boots is if I’m riding the Triumph (kick start only), at the track or if I’m leaving the house and it is already raining. The rest of the time it is white sneakers.

I ride in Nike Shox 99.9% of the time...i would say 100% but i may have ridden in a pair of Crocs a time or two so i will go with 99.9% of the time. I say wear what you want if you worried about the fashion police then by all means go get ya some of them black and chrome boots HD markets.

Boots only or I don't ride. I was wearing a pair of new balance walking shoes once while riding and put my foot down to stop at a light and almost dropped the bike; I learned my lesson that day....

I do the same thing and have three pairs of tennis shoes under the desk. While all of us have choices (and live with the acceptance of risk for that choice...), I thoroughly believe in ATGATT or All The Gear All The Time. That's leather or protective jacket (even in 105 degree heat like here in Palmdale, CA), leather chaps and boots. IMHO, wearing tennies, puts one in the same class as what I saw on the freeway the other day; some dodo on a Honda VTX wearing gym shorts and tennis shoes with no socks, doing 75 mph. While he might be mighty comfy, the thought of laying it down at that speed, makes him a 3rd degree burn victim (if he lives).

If you find the boots hot, try wearing cycling socks from Da-Feet and others. Often made of some kind of wicking material like Dupont Dri-Max to keep your feet cool and comfortable. Cotton holds moisture and heat, plus they tend to smell worse.

Wearing mid ankle black day hikers now until I can find a new pair of boots, otherwise it's boots. My old boots were so comfortable I could wear them all day, no problem.
Hopefully I'll find a pair just as comfortable.

I wear whatever I want.

Don't have any use for the "poser dress code".
