Gimme a break. How many wear boots for safey but no lid for their melon? Just wondering.
Don't know about anyone else, but, as I said, I respect your choices on what you want to wear and what level of risk you are comfortable with. No issues from me simply because my choices are different from yours.

Hey, thanks! With a link, even! I think buying a pair of these will be the extent of my "Black Friday" purchasing.

Broke down and bought a pair of Wesco's a couple years back - one of the best investments I ever made in footwear for ridin'

Riding in anything less than boots is just plain stupid, stupid, stupid. So am I saying if you ride without boots you are stupid? Stupid is as stupid does.

I was wearing tennies when I hit a dog while riding my first M/C. Left foot caught under the shift lever, ripped the tennie from side to side. My toes were almost hanging out of the shoe.
Wore boots for so long at work, they are just a part of walking and riding now.

back in '88 a car came out of a driveway between 2 cars in right lane and hit me in the left lane. had tennis shoes on and bones would've been broken with boots but my heel pad probably wouldn't have been nearly tore off back to mid foot. Dr wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep that foot at first and to be honest there where many times that I wished that it was gone.
I always were boots now
