Sounds like you're definitely enjoying the new ride. You'll be spending a fortune now on customizing, changing, etc. Savor every bit of it, that's half the enjoyment!
To you and to all - be careful. If you live in a seasonal area like I do (Northern Indiana), spring is a great time to ride, but also a great time to get hit on a bike. There is usually lots of leftover salt and sand on the roads, and quite a few more potholes. People also aren't used to watching out for bieks, so they likely won't be looking for you. Drive a bit more defensively, and you should be alright. I just heard that there was a motorcycle accident yesterday morning around here, and my immediate thought was, "and so it begins."

I did not ride for 2 days due to being to darn windy but hell if I was going to let it happen for 3 days

Got an idea for you, go play some more music while you are waiting, it will make time go by easier and faster.
