I think it's the other way around.

I'll admit I never liked any of the Vrods...until I saw and sat on a Nite Rod in person.Very cool bike that would be welcome in my garage. One passed me on the highway over the summer. He must have changed the pipes because it sounded pretty good.I'll have to wait and see the Muscle in person, but it does look good so far.

I HATED the look of the new V-Rod Muscle, until I saw the recent issue of HOG Tales. There is a picture of it with saddlebags, and it actually looks really cool with them. Strange how such a simple accessory can totally change the look of a bike to someone.

The mud helped tooooo!!!

Guys, check out the 1130ccForum and read what V-Rod owners are saying about the newest red headed step child.

They are making the new model to attract the younger kids who are on the fence between crotch rockets and Harley's.

Don't get me wrong, there is some potential there; get rid of the two pipes and stuff a 300 tire in there to fill up the enormous fender. As far as the plastic air box cover and side pieces, it's either love it or hate it.

I'll stick with my modified '02 thank you!!

You're right, the mud did make it look snappy.

I didn't care for the muscle either. It still looks like a plain old V-Rod.

On another note, I saw a Vrod with tall apes on it the other day. That was the goofiest looking thing I ever saw.

You can't really customize a vrod and make it look good.

Yeah. Walked in to the dealership with my girlfriends dad and he bought the first one they had. I think it's awesome. He has those shots of Ms. Miller up all over the house too.
