ouch man, I'm really sorry to hear about your ordeal, and I hope you heal up quickly!
Just out of curiosity, do you happen to have a link for the exact Cortech pants you were wearing? I think I'll be investing in some myself...
Are these the right ones? http://www.motosport.com/harley/prod...=badger-harley

Here's one link - shop around for best prices though - they come in black or blue denim. I wear mine all the time as I ride daily so they are my everyday pants basically...

PastorTom,
Thanks my friend and you're so right about that!

Hey Arizona,
I had a very similar accident last year. The car pulled out in front of me and never stopped after the crash. The police looked into it, but without the license plate info they had almost nothing to go on. The driver of the car never came forward to say they were in a accident. My insurace fixed the bike and my health insurance paid the medial expense. The driver of the car got away completely free. Good luck, I am glad you are ok.

Iron Pony also carries a few diff brands of re-enforced riding jeans:

I've always had pretty decent luck sliding down the road in Levi's though

AZ, I'm very glad you weren't hurt badly, and I'm very sorry to hear about the shot your bike took. I remember shortly after I signed into the forums I saw your bike while perusing the forums and thought to myself....nice scoot. 91K on an '05 is a remarkable amount of riding. You and the bike had a nice history. If it's totaled, I hope you can find a suitable replacement and you'll love it as much as ol' blue. One word for your road rash....Neosporin. Keep it moist while it heals.
