I wasn't fortunate enough to serve my country as a soldier (medical), but my Dad was a Korean War veteran. He is turning 80 soon and has just recently started to talk a little about his time over there. He is my hero by far and I realize the sacrifices he made at that time. I hope our troops come home safe to their families and I thank them everyday for their courage and loyalty to our great country.

If you know a vet..thank him today. Let him know you appreciate his / her service

I for one will never forget.
