Production numbers on models?
Was sort of curious on the numbers and which models of bikes theatHD does each year. Does anyone know if HD posts these numbers annually such as number of Touring, Softails, Dyna, Sporties ETc. Just for my own little mind.

I think the MOCO puts them in the investor link someplace on their website. Maybe just total production but might be by model.

I was in both the local HD dealerships last week. Not a single touring bike in either shop. I asked a salesman what the problem was, he said just can't keep baggers of any kind, they get sold as quickly as they hit the floor. Lots of every kind of other bike on the floor. The question that popped into my mind was if MOCO could adjust production to ramp up building of touring bikes if that's what is flying out the door.

Ironass, you were right. Went to HD home page, clicked on COMPANY, then INVESTOR RELATIONS, then MOTORCYCLE SHIPMENTS. They list the numbers since 2003. Thanks

I am searching for production numbers myself. They cannot be found. Maybe , annual units produced, but, I would like to know how many 1996 FLSTSB Softail Badboys were produced.
So far, no luck.
If anybody has a link or a source, it would be greatly appreciated.

There are exactly 1102 more bikes out there that were produced like mine.
1996 Red Stripes
But, like the movie full metal jacket, there are many like it but this one is mine.
Now I know how many stockers were built. Not too many.
Rock and a hard place, stock or custom?
Mines already pretty custom, but, mostly stock. I respect stock, but, I gotta ride it daily. It's gotta be a part of me Hmmmmmm.
Thanks to Skull and Yourself. Springer rocks.
