I can't agree more with you as riding a bike completely changes your perspective on everyone else on the road. Cars are insane. When I drive my car I am the same but things change a bit when you don't have a cage to hide in in. Way back in '95(my first year of riding) I learned that being on two wheels makes it a lot easier to high side, and that cars don't see you as well. I also learned that wrenchin' on your own bike is the only way to fly. One more thing is that motorcycle tires are a tad bit more expensive than car tires and never last nearly as long. As far as I am concerned it is a far better way to get around on a daily basis. It is kinda fun to get caught in the rain without proper gear every once in a while. Happened to me last Saturday. Me and my motorcycle. It is a love affair.

Point well made. Nicely done... +1 on the entire package.

Great post. I, too, have recently completed my first year of riding. It is exhilarating, relaxing, tense, and enjoyable all at the same time! I can't picture myself ever again not having a HD scooter to ride!
