Does your desire to ride ever decrease?

I don't get up in the morning just looking to see if I'm gonna ride today, but the feeling gets stronger the more things that keep me away from riding (work, yard, other hobbies, etc.) I may have to give up the other hobbies come to think of it, and better yet give up work, but I can't stand people that don't take care of their yard. Well on the other hand, the weather is pretty nice and you can't see the yard for the leaves...so maybe I'll try to sneak in a ride tomorrow. Guess I never lose the desire after all!

the more I ride, the more I want to ride. Now and again I get distracted with some project or hobby and forget how much I love it, but as soon as I start the bike and ride a few miles I'm right back addicted again. Its been the only constant in my life thats lasted througout my life.

Rhonda, I haven't been able to ride for 15 months now and I still go out every couple of days and find some work to do on the bike.....if I can't ride I need to at least be working on it. 32 years I've been riding and I can't ever see myself not wanting to. Someday years from now, I'll have my Harley Depends on and my cane strapped to the seat (and my Viagra & heart pills in my vest pocket, can't forget those).....but I'll still feel like riding
Rhonda, I have been riding all my life and love it as much as the first day. It is something that I always look forward to. The only problem is that I can't ride as much as I would like. I am a certified, right wing wacko bike nut!!! And lovin it!!!

The main thing that stops me from riding is crappy weather. Other than that, I like to ride whenever I can. As long as you like to ride, just do it any way that you like and enjoy the ride.

For me, there are days, nice days, I just don't want to leave the house. I think a lot of it is that since I took a job transfer, I am driving 250-400 miles a day. When the weekend comes, it seems I am content to stay home. But then again, I just may leave the house on Saturday AM and not come home till Sunday PM.

I hate to break it to you, but our cages have heat and air conditioning. I know that makes me a puzzy since the cars I had back in the 60's and early 70's didn't have air, and a VW bug I once had didn't even seem to have a real heater. At some point my brain completely disintegrated and I decided I like creature comforts.
To make things worse, even our house has automatic temperature control.
If the weather looks decent I'm on the bike. Otherwise, screw it.
I'm just no fun at all any more.
