The heritage comes with a nice big windscreen... why go with the faring? I used to ride a Heritage.. and (with a few bikes in between) now ride an eGlide. Other than the hand protection the eGlide faring offers, I don't see any other advantage.

Just doesn't look right. I'd never do that to my Heritage.

I just swapped the windshield on my Heritage. The 09 comes with a std size shield & the buffeting was terrible. I picked up the tall replacement shield for 120.00 & swapped the hardware & the difference is unbelievable. I'm now looking through the shield but I don't mind as I use it in cold weather for protection. In nice weather the shield comes off. I believe the 08's came with the tall shield.

I would like to know if there is a REAL difference between a windscreen and the batwing fairing. Anyone that has tried both have an opinion? Does the batwing fairing knock down the wind from the front much better than a windscreen? How about crosswinds?
