Banded collar on my Vanson. When it gets cool I put one of these on.
Check the link out. They've got some great stuff.

Have both styles. The button down, (old school style) has a snap-on fur collar that really helps in the cold. If my memory serves me correctly it was made by a company in CA. that made jackets for the CHP, think it was made by Bear. I've had it at least 35 years, love that old jacket.

No collars, but neck gaiter or bandana is a must for the cold season.

Fox Creek Classic II jacket. It's the only jacket I own and the collar has never been a problem.

Default Jacket

All 4 of my Harley jackets have no collars, just the way I like it and if need be for the cooler rides I wear a one piece balacalva over the whole head & neck and most of the face!

Have had this happen with a shirt collar but never with my jackets. They are all pretty heavy leather, both traditional motorcycle jacket style collar and mandarin style on good jackets by Langlitz, Vanson, Schott, Brooks, HD and HD FXRG. I guess you can tell that I like leather jackets . I also ride about 80% of the time with a windshield so I guess that helps.
