I think one of our active duty members needs to forward this to their appropriate chain of command. Assuming this scammer is located stateside, I wonder if impersonating a military officer carries some federal charges?
Oh yes! It is a federal offense to impersonate a member of the armed forces!
I buy and sell bikes year round on ebay and craigslist. If you get 10 replies to an ad 3-4 of them are always scams. Always ask for your full name and address so they can begin transaction. I led one along one time to see what happens. I was sent a VERY authentic looking cashiers check. I even showed it to the girls at the bank and you could not tell. Always search the persons name, what they are selling, or the bank the "cashier's check" is drawn on. There will always be plenty of scam info on it.
i just sent him an email....hello sir im very interested in your harley davidson deuce your selling, sounds like a great deal and this is the bike i have always wanted.. ****ing scammer i would like to take my size 14 steel toe and kick his throat in.
