Throttle mate
Has anyone used the throttle mate. www.throttlemate.com, if so, do they work? Wanted to get opinions before spending the 12 bucks, thanks

Just checked the link and it says it holds the throttle to "desired RPM".
In actuality it just replaces the star wheel on the throttle lock.
I'd pass.

I have one on my 06 that works perfectly. It holds the throttle when pushed forward & completely releases it when returned. I can't get it to work on my 09 though. The range on the star wheel takes 1.5-2 turns to go from full lock to full release on the 09 & since the throttle lock works on less than a 1/2 of a turn I can't use it. I took the housing apart to make sue the star wheel was seated properly & it looked fine. I also tested another 09 on the dealers floor it it was the same as mine. I wonder if they changed the pressure plate or something. I really want it to work on the 09.

If you try it you would love it. Just nudge it forward & it locks the throttle & you can rest your hand, adjust your mirror, pick your nose or anything else with your right hand. A quick flick back & you're back on control. It's great on the open road. Installs in minutes.

Works great
Had one for a couple of years...works great. Beats trying to get that little wheel to work with gloves on. Just make sure it releases fully when the bike's running. It may be a little different than when it's not running.

Have one on my heritage and it works great! Only use it on open high ways.
Bought two from a guy off this forum for $20.00 shipped. May want to look him up in classifieds.
