My first bike was a 2006 1200C Sportster. Sweet ride until I got my Fat Boy!

That's funny. I made the same statement a week or so ago about why I didn't really care for the Dyna. Apprently it raised the ire of a few Dyna owners.

Anyway;

First bike was a 1972 Bonneville that I purchased new in 1973.

Here's the pic I used in the For Sale ad in 2006 to buy the Low Rider.

At this rate I'll be ready to sell the Low Rider and buy my third bike when I'm 91 years old.

1986 Kawasaki 454 LTD bought new. My brother bought a matching bike same day. I gotta say, it's still a Top Five memory for me.

First bike, a brand new 1968 Honda 450CL. Been riding ever since.... BTW, that thing was FAST... I used to blow away the 650 Triumphs and BSA's that were haunting the neighborhood. Put different exhaust, seat, and paint, and I loved that thing.

Technically, my first "bike" was a Honda Minitrail 50 in sixth grade, then I got a Honda Minitrail 70 in tenth grade. My first real motorcycle was a 1975 Honda CB400F Supersport (possibly the first commercially available cafe bike). It only cost $1199 brand new and I've seen them on ebay "restored" for $9000. I guess they didn't make that many and they seem to be in demand. Great bike.
