Mine was a Honda 350, Don't remember what year, late 60s???? Had those high, off road, burn your leg pipes. Got it when I was 14-15 in the mid 70s, been riding ever since.
Right now I have a 2006 FatBoy, a 1975 Ironhead, an 82 Goldwing and a 1960s? CZ that I've had for about 35yrs.
Mine was a 1993 Honda Nighthawk 750. Fun fun fun bike. I'd love to have another one for old times sake, if I ever run up on a deal on one.
I have to agree with the Nighthawk. Mine was a 1992. Cheap, ultra reliable, and super quick! Made several long trips on mine but comfort was not it's greatest asset. This was my very first NEW streetbike. My neighbor across the street has a slightly newer one with the black engine that has been beat to death and he still commutes 40 miles a day on it to work.

17 years old on a 74 Honda CL360 Scrambler just like the one attached. Man I loved that bike, rode from the dirt trails to the freeway to NYC. Any weather, any where that bike would go. Laid it down so much I used to carry an extra clutch lever. Sounded bada$$ with the mufflers off too. Checked one out recently, lets just say my memories must be a little foggy.
Our first bike is Ducati Panigale 1299S, 2nd is a Harley Breakout (wife's bike), 3rd is a Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R (wife's bike), and 4th a Street Bob
My wife and i like super sports and cruiser bikes we do not discriminate we like to ride the Harley every day and the super sports on the weekends or going on long trips.
