2003 100th Anniversary XL883 Sportster bought new March 2003

 

1978 Suzuki RM80.It was for my 12th birthday.It was a "surprise".Dad locked it in our shed,but I knew they were up to something,cuz the shed was NEVER locked.So him and Mom went in town,and I couldn't stand it.......I peeked.That night after my party,my buddies and me took turns pushing each other up and down the street in the dark.Dad made me read the ENTIRE owners manual after school before I could ride it.Loved that bike.

Very first was an '80 Kawasaki 80... Next was an Elsinore 250

 

Yamaha 1973 DT-3 250cc dirt bike like this one but the tank on mine had been spray painted black after it was damaged. Bought it in 1975 for 500 bucks.

 

Briggs and Stratton Mini bike (not sure if that counts.) Then a Honda 50, then a Honda 150 Dream that was bobbed and cut to be a dirt bike. Some of you older guys might recall the 150 Dream. Everything was square. Square shocks, headlights, Etc

 

Honda 50 (found in some bush's near my house). First bike with a clutch was a Hodaka 100

 

Mine was a Hodaka 125 Wombat, complete with chrome tank and fenders!

Technically it was a Honda 90 ATC, if off-road trikes count. If not, then a CR125 was my first two wheeler. Road bike a '76 XLH 1000.
