My first time on two wheels was a 1987 Honda Rebel 250. I considered it a scooter, mainly because it sounded like a sewing machine I chopped the headers in half and it just sounded like a pissed off sewing machine. I just upgraded to a 2015 iron 883 about 3 weeks ago and I love it! I consider it my first motorcycle. I put some Z bars on and I'll be doing some T bars pretty soon. Just gotta figure out the Front brake cable...

1996 Suzuki Bandit back in 1999 when I was 19. It was the first vehicle I bought myself without any help from my parents. Mom wasn't happy, but it was a great first bike.

 

40cc Chinese scooter. It rarely rode without something falling off including the wheels but when it didn't have problems it was a blast to ride.

 

First bike I bought was one of those tiny, 2 stroke, 3 cyl. Kawasakis.
I straddled the bike, whacked the throttle, and it took off between my legs, across a parking lot and into some hedges! Those things had some surprising low end torque!

First motorbike was a new 1971 Honda Mini Trail 50. First ever streetbike was a 1992 Honda Nighthawk 750. 44 years of riding and don't intend to stop until I am in the ground!
Happiest day of my life!!!!

 

First bike I bought myself was a 1981 Yamaha YZ125.
And I still have it.

 

1981 Kawasaki KZ-440 Ltd. with a Vetter Quicksilver fairing. Wish I still had it.

 

1992 Suzuki katana 600!
