One of the best. The 750 was insane. Maybe that's why I haven't seen one in something like 30 years.

I had a 66 Superhawk, terrific performance for such a small engine, redline 9000, and I had it up to 11,000 in 4th (4 speed) once - on flat ground, outrunning a Camaro (that was a guy that couldn't believe what happened, surprised me, too). Lucky it held together. Had more fun on that one than any since, but that might be cause I was only 19 when I got it. I'd guess you were pretty young with your 305, too.

Yeah I was young w/my 305 Scrambler but learned very quick NOT to burn my inner left thigh!!! Those up-swept pipes were not cool. Literally!!!

I spun mine up way past 9000 rpm, that thing would not die!!!

I may have missed some that didn't work out and I only had for a few weeks, didn't know if the quads count but they were so much fun and they seem like they are in the family tree so I included them

Started out with a 350 Yamaha dirt-ish bike I regeared for the road. Then a 69 Triumph Bonneville I chopped 20 or so years ago, and now the Heritage. (it was a bit of a gap there)

No I didn't. Only the truly gifted or stupid would throw a leg over that machine now, think a schizophrenic cat with it's tail on fire on a linoleum floor being chased by dogs, that paints the true picture of the Can-Am MX 250/370/400 bikes. I had friends/acquaintances that had much more talent than I, that rode them in the AMA nationals and SX's despite how bad they were. Those guys(Jim Holley,Donny Hansen, Greg Robertson) were awesome racers that knew no fear.

I been riding since I can remember. The first was a mini bike. My first was a 71 Honda SL 100. That was my favorite! I installed a cam pop-up piston, ported, it must of had 8 or 9 hp! Then:

Honda SL 175
Honda SL 350
Suzuki GS 550 (three Cylinder two stroke)
The a 20 year overseas assignment.
Then a Harley 883
Suzuki M50
2008 HD Low Rider
2007 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe
2007 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Silverado
and now 01 HD Electra Glide Classic
