Bought it a year ago to the day!
It had 5k miles on it when I got it.
has just over 9k on it today (rode into work today & it was 33 degrees & dark when I left)
Yamaha mini Enduro 80cc's Cool thing was it was exactly like a motorcycle just small, this was in the mid 70's.Honda's were mini bikes, weird looking not like a motorcycle at all, still fun.But not made for jumping and stuff.I think the yammy could have even been big enough to be street legal.
A buddy was leaving for Viet Nam and sold me his 1959 A-10 BSA for $400.00 in the spring of 1968. No lights, no front brake, no anything but motorcycle. I learned the art of a clutch as well as how to ride a bike on that thing.
I got a 49cc Italjet in 1977. My dad had the tank painted grey to match his '77 Lowrider. He also put an Indian logo on it, which was technically correct. It had training wheels for about 30 minutes. (I was 5).
How many times did it throw you over the handlebars starting it? I had a '68 and the decompression release broke. I got thrown a bunch.
My first bike was a Ducati,Sebring. It was a single lung,4 stroke, that was widely considered one of the hardest bikes to kick start. A lot of compression. No compression release. Worse POS I have owned.
My 2nd bike was a Triumph,Bonneville, 750cc. My favorite out of the 7 street bikes I have owned.
