I started on a 1967 Honda 90 in college 40 years ago. Cost me $270 brand new - sold it for $300 two years later.







Got my sportster in June of this year - a long wait.

 

My first bike was a Honda 350 trail bike. Most people asked if was too haevy of a bike for trails. I always said "Only if you fall down." It was good for trails and road, but really good at either.

If I was a betting man, I'd say the nice blue Cushman in your photo was a 1960 8hp Super Eagle. (Cushman made that model from 1959 thru 1961.) I sold one just like it a couple years ago. My wife & I have owned 16 Cushmans & 1 Vespa that we restored a few years ago. We still enjoy the yearly Cushman swap meets in the mid south. I still have a 1954 Cushman mod. 711 step thru that I took away from my first wife's drunk sister in back 1964.

68 honda cb450, bought it used in.. 1970 or 71 I think. After that a 650 BSA.
