It was my pride and joy in 1973. I got a used 1970 Honda CT 70 for my 12th birtday. It was candy apple red, 3 speed "semi-automatic". That bike was amazing. I wish I still had it. My best friend had a Suzuki Trailhopper, 50cc two-stroke. That was a cool little machine as well. We had a blast trail riding, climbing hills, etc. Great memories. Thanks!

I had a lil Suzuki 125 trail bike back in the 60's that had a lever on the left side you could kick with your heel and change ratio's for trail or street riding. Can't remember the designation but it was a fun little bike.

Honda 50 at age 14 . Got a brand new Honda 350 motosport for $900.00. 2 months later it was too underpowered so I got a 1967 Triumph bonneville. Kawasaki 900Z1 a few years later. If ya love em you know it early in life!

Started out ridin' a Honda Trail 70 on trails until one day when I was going up a hill to do a jump and jumped right into the guy coming up from the other direction. Bent the forks to crap on that poor little bike and messed up my knee for a while.

First bought bike was a '73 Suzuki 500 a few years after that. Damn baffles would never stay in that thing, I'd be ridin' down the road and hear the ching and look back to see the baffle laying there. Quick stop, back down and got pretty good at putting them back in.

A used Wards moped I bought around 1956. Engine locked up just riding it around the house. Took it to the Montgomery Wards service department and they took the engine apart and did some machine work and put it back together. It cost me about $10 to get it out of the shop. Lots of money back then!

BSA 250cc from the 50s which I bought in 1964
It started to fall apart with the primary chain breaking weeks after I bought it.
Still strikes a chord when I see one though.
