My 99 FXDWG was actually my second, but I only had my Honda Shadow 1100 for 2 weeks before it....
This all took place in Oct 07 and I was only 56 back then. Before 07, I rode a friends 305 Yamaha Dream 4 or 5 times in 1971, hadn't been on a bike from then until April of 07 when I took the MSF course on a 250 Suzy

 

A used Yamaha Maxim 650 was my first bike, In 2000 I bought a '98 CBR1100XX, in 2005 a RVT 1000r (RC-51). Last summer I rode a friends '95 Dyna Lowrider. That's all it took, Now I own a Harley.

 

My first was an old mini-bike that was a broke down Zem Zem motorcycle with a Teckumssa (I probably spelled that wrong) engine that my dad somehow ended up with from some guy he worked with. I was probably 12 at the time, my dad fixed the bike and showed me how to tune the carb. that would constantly vibrant out of wack. My knees were as high as my ears when I was on the bike, but it was a blast.

My first bike was a Honda mini trail 50. In 1970.Brand new. As I grew, dad got me bigger bikes.
Rode his 1965 Electra Glide at age 16. What a bike that was !! I believe he said it was the first year with electric start.

 

He was correct. Mine was a 64 and I wished I had bought a 65 after kicking that thing all those years.

 

Was a yellow "Yammahaw" 80.
