1973 Kawasaki 175 dirt bike. I bought it new with my own money. $300.00 if I remember right. I started with a paper route and mowing yards at age 10. I have always worked so I always had a little money.
I still have the bike. It was running a little rough so I parked it. My son is about tall enough to start to ride it. He's on me to let him start to ride it. Prolly look at it this winter.

Got my first one (the Ole Man rode it home, I was only 12). Hopped on it and ran it right into the drivers door of his Buick Electra. I wish I had a picture of the look on his face. The look on mine was probably a "Kodak Moment" as well.

1956 Triumph TR6 in 1966 when I was 16......wish to hell I had kept it. Followed it up with a `47 Knucklehead that I chopped and extended and rode all over the place, sold it when I was 19 and about to get married `cause we needed the $. Still married to the same woman so guess it was a good trade off.......naw, wish to hell I had kept it too!

50cc HD with a step through frame and a three speed tranny that you shifted with the clutch handle. Wish I still had it. never seen another one. Even Armando Magri hadn't seen one. We found one old picture. It was a 1963 and my dad gave it to me when I was 9. He gave me a 65 XLCH when I was 14...RIP pops!

Then I went to a 1882 Suzuki RM125
Followed by a 1982 Yamaha XT500
Then an '84 750 Magna
Raced a CR250 in intermediate endurance around that time as well
then a 1986 GW1100
and a Kawa KZ1000
then a Kawa LTD 454
then my first HD
