I had Progressive for 3 years, with no tickets or claims, and they wanted $890 renewal on my bike. Got Geico for $536. That was the least premium quote I could find for full coveage. Your $287. sounds fantastic to me.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Progressive. Still with them after nearly seven years.

I have progressive and I like them for now (had a little lo-side accident 5 weeks ago), well see after I get next years renewal notice. They took care of picking up the bike and handled everything with the HD dealer. I'm just waiting for my painted fender from the MoCo.

sorry to jump off topic... can you let me know how long the whole process takes from buying the fender, having it painted by them... and then you having it in your hands... im about to get a new rear fender and have it painted by them also.

I've had em since 96, too lazy to check around. But I do know they've paid off on all my bike wrecks.

My son had progressive on his 03 883R. He only had it three months and a old lady in a Park Avenue turned left in front of him. He totaled the bike. He said he saw her roof twice as he cart wheeled over it.

He came out of it with a few bruises. Progressive cut him a check within 6 days for the full retail on the bike, accessories and helmet. They added $300 to the retail because they found out that it would be hard for him to find another R model.

They did the best job of taking care of the claim that I have ever seen. I don't have them but that is because I have collector's coverage on mine for about one tenth of regular coverage.
