I'm thinking of doing something similar to my clutch and brake levers, kinda like the railings on ship. Unfortunately, I failed to pay that much attention in the classes my dungaree clad brethren gave us in the art of knot tying.

I spent 5 years in the Navy and the only knot I learned to tie was my neckerchef. Granted those 5 years were in the SeaBees (BU2), and the closest I ever got to a boat ...er ship was looking at some of them in Rota Spain, or in Guam.
