Make sure the fuel lines inside the tank aren't crimped or broken. Sometimes the hoses get cut or broken and won't allow any fuel to be pumped to the injectors. It's usutally the simple things that get overlooked. Are you sure the pump is actually pumping fuel? Blown fuse? Grounded wire?

we have checked the lines. it seems that we have power to the pump until we plug it in.
we tried another pump to no avail. we bench tested the pump which seems to work fine.
Thanks for the reply

Have you checked the speedometer? I know it sounds strange but it may throw off an error code that will point you in the general direction of what is wrong.

I should have elborated a little more. Make sure the ignition is off, but the RunStop button is at Run. Hold in the odometer change button on the side of the speedometer and turn on the ignition. The speedometer pointer should sweep to the right and the mileage readout should begin to flash. Cycling through the menu by pushing on the odometer reset button will show if there are any trouble codes stored. Check your service manual or do a search here for any trouble codes that might appear in the odometer readout.
