Mobil 1 V-Twin at Advance Auto
#32
Just bought 5 qts of 20-50 VT and Mobil 1 Filter M1-102 which fits my 2004 Deuce. I watched the clerk bring up the filter on the computer for a 2004 Deuce. Just so happens that the same filter fits my 1998 V6 Toyota 4Runner. I bought the last 5 quarts. 2 Miles away was another Advance Auto Store and they were out of VT oil but would be getting more in Tomorrow as well as the first store I went to.
They gave me the same story at both places, that the $29 price didn't cover Mobil Vt 20-50 oil. I told the clerk at the first store to ring it up and sure enough $29.95, needless to say, he was astounded by the revelation. I told the clerk at the second store that it would ring up for $29.95 when they got some in tomorrow. Isn't the internet and this forum just great about getting out this kind of usefull information. Thanks to M1 JIM for posting this cost saving information. With the economy in the dumps it is nice to save where we can.
