The cager is in his own lane the whole time. It is the resposibility of the crotcher to maintain his own lane. Given what we see, it appears he hit the corner too hot, fixated and screwed the pooch. Of course, all who have been there know that a crotcher would NEVER exceed the posted speed limit or cross the yellow....would they? Ask the THP why they give tickets for crossing the yellow......because it's dangerous to oncoming traffic, because it causes accidents.

I hope he heals quickly and has learned from his mistake. It could have been a bike instead of the blazer he hit.

Ride safe

Bubba

Tree of Shame reminds you how dangerous the ride can be everytime you see it at Deal's !

Everyone screws up now and again, and I think I can safely say we have ALL pulled a bone-head move once or twice in our riding history.......
Most of us were just lucky someone wasnt there, or ready, to catch it on camera and equally lucky no one got hurt. ( Including ourselves ! )

But as someone has already eluded to.........
The dangers of the Dragon are pretty apparent to any who have ever seen it........ and its reputation certainly is VERY well enough known in the Bike world to have given any noobs a fair warning !

Last time I was there..............
I had "Sport Bikes" come around me, crossing Dbl. Yellow..... even tho I had hugged hard to the right to be sure to give them PLENTY of room to get around me if they so chose.
Also seen Bikes of all make and model make the ride just fine, even when exceeding the speed limit by a hair or two....
These included Goldwings, Geezer Glides.... hell Trikes for that matter !
( Last trip I was following my Father In Law on his Wing.... AND fully loaded Trailer he pulls ! )

Also saw a Sport Bike lay it down to avoid hitting a Semi that had stuck it, blocking both lanes and shoulders...... nowhere to go, and he was Way to Hot to Stop... poor Bastard.

Anywyas..................

No doubt in my mind he would've made that curve if he pushed more on his right grip. Our bikes will lean much more than we are able to lean them.

Ouch! - I got to admit - I'm not a fan of this kind of thread. Don't like seeing that.

The classic banana peel in the road. It is banana season and they are mating so be careful out there.
