As a few of you know, I like to keep my Scooters pretty basic and love the "Early Model" style which is one of the reason I ride an FLSTSC. I'm not really into the "Baggers" just my preference. Some of you also know that my Wife doesn't care to go riding and sometimes I snivel about that to my riding buddy's back home.
So today I get the following email from a neighbor of mine back home telling me that he finally got rid of the honda he had (never rode it, has a RC) and bought another bike.

What has me worried is the sentence at the end regarding Jackie (that's my wife). I need some words from others who feel like myself that Baggers are evil and not to be trusted to keep me from possibly making a horrible error in judgment and getting a bagger should Jackie go for a ride on my friends and decide she likes it. I can't afford to keep the one I have and buy another so that is not an option.

I really wish my wife would ride with me but not enough to get a bagger so I need your help.

Yea for some reason, It just popped up. Pretty funny. Except I just traded the honda in for an "09" ultra and it dosen't sound close to that. Until I go out and spend at least a grand for pipes, breather, and fuel controler.But we took it over to Carlsbad, the improvements in the 09s are great, handled the twistys great, got 50 miles to the gal. Loaded down.They made improvements to the anti vibration plate. Stock grips hands never went numb, *** never got sore after 8 hrs. in the saddle except for fuel breaks. Kinda made me miss the roadking.It was so smooth and quiet at times I wondered if it said Goldwing on it.Hell Jackie may even change her mind about ride'n on this bike.
That would be kool I will be home on 7 nov. Maybe we can get a ride in. take it light Mike

yep! took me a while to come over too. But look at it this way. You will more than likely ride it more and over longer distances. Your wife might even come with you.
