The last rumor I heard about the XR coming to this side of the pond was from a dealer employee who posted in one of the discussion forums (Badweb if I remember correctly) that US dealers had reason to believe the XR would be available in the US before the end of '08. Since the MoCo usually makes their mid-year announcements in February, I remain skeptical that we'll see it prior to 2/09 - if even then. Has anyone heard any new rumors or innuendo about the XR coming over to the US?

Throw me a frikkin' bone here people. I want this bike. Really badly.

 

i second that! i would love to park the XR1200 next to my nightster next year...

 

Well, I can tell ya from being a parts dude for HD that the XR appears in the 09 sporty parts manual and says nothing of being an HDI model so that leads everyone to believe that it's coming.
