Been there, done that. Lasted less than 90 days on my Sporty. Bought a Low Rider, then traded it for the RK Custom. Have the Wild1 Chubbies.

I went from a Dyna WG to a Road King, and love the switch. The RK is so comfortable, and if that's what you're looking for, then I say go for it. I noticed right away, also, that the RK is easier to handle--has a lower center of gravity, holds corners really well, I can list more, but if you get one, you'll notice a big difference. I also went with the reduced reach handle bars--the stock ones keep your wrists in an akward position--my husband had them on his bike before he got the apes,and he said his hands kept falling asleep, so keep that in mind if you purchase a RK.

you will love it... if you get a new1 go ahead and get a 103 kit put in it right off with a se251 cams and a set of pipes and you will be set
