Trading in my sportster
#41
Yes, after one season, I have out grown my sportster. I love it very much but find that my weekends have been filled with day long rides and the sportster just isn't comfortable enough. Soooo, I am thinking of trading her in for a road king custom and wanted to know how many of you own one and what you might have to say about them. I would also like to see your pics with ideas on differnt handlebars. Thank you Deb D.

I went from a Dyna WG to a Road King, and love the switch. The RK is so comfortable, and if that's what you're looking for, then I say go for it. I noticed right away, also, that the RK is easier to handle--has a lower center of gravity, holds corners really well, I can list more, but if you get one, you'll notice a big difference. I also went with the reduced reach handle bars--the stock ones keep your wrists in an akward position--my husband had them on his bike before he got the apes, and he said his hands kept falling asleep, so keep that in mind if you purchase a RK.
Go for it, girl!!!!!!!!
