"I like the smaller, less traveled roads..."

VERY true words. Arkansas is blessed with literally HUNDREDS of miles of scenic sideroads.

Hwy 7 is awesome... but quite "modernized" in many places in regards to width, curve reduction, gradient, etc.

For some very backwoods and remote riding... try 21 out of Clarksville, in/around the Kingston AR area, or Hwy 16 from Norton Gap west to St. Paul... on and on. So much riding. Fantastic views, quaint towns... you gotta' get a good map so you can see all the options!!!

If I don't have to work this Saturday, wife and I will be aboard the Deuce out in the Ozarks "somewhere" ourselves.

Have fun!!

Luckily I've been able to spend some quality riding time in NW AR over the last
four years. My girlfriend joined me in early Sept on her Deluxe for her first trip to AR. So I think she would love 7, plus it would give her a little break from the less traveled roads that gives her a nice challenge.

What I love about the area is that not matter what road you take, it's a wonderful
ride. Especially when compare to, while beautiful in it's own way, flat Central Iowa.

One of the days I thinking of taking a break from the saddle for a few hours and do some
hiking and exploring at the Pedestal Rocks area. I've never been, but from the pics it looks
like a great place to get some exercise and take in some cool scenery.
