Default alternative to chaps???????

I work nights and have a 35 mile ride home on the freeway between 1am and 2am and it is starting to get cold. Low 50's and will be in the 40's soon. Not sure I dig chaps, so does anyone have a suggestion as an alternative to keep the legs warm? If not, I guess I will be buyin me some azzless chaps .

Thanks

first gear HT 2.0 overpants. Keep you warm and dry. Worn 'em at 30 degrees, and when it's raining pigs & chickens. From the coast of washington, it rains sometimes here.

A lot of people swear by Carhartt insulated overalls.

Lmao. I already told you I lived nearby you in Aberdeen once. It rained every single day I lived there, I swear.

Just buy them, they work and who cares if the fashion police on HDF don't like them.

I wear "CheekLess" chaps and LJ's on cold rides. Comfort trumps all.

Check these out www.coloradochaps.com , I got a set of these. They roll up and store in a bag that comes with them about 3" around X 12" long. work great for rain and cold. They were first made for working in the woods and brush and for hunting. You give the lady your measurments and you will have them in under a week. I am not much for the chap thing but these are great and don't take any room up just to have with you all the time in case there is a change in the weather, I put water proofing like for a tent on mine and the water just runs off like a ducks back.Forgot to add , but they are very lite weight, you don't even know you have them on.

They look like they'd be fine but it says nylon. Do they melt on your pipes?

If it weren't for that, I'd use snowmobile or ski overpants myself.
