I have a pair of Oakley? ballistic glasses that are worn by the Soldiers in Iraq. My Son gave them to me. Comes with several different tints and a snap to change. They'll stop some shrapnel so rocks don't phase them. They also fit close so no extra wind. They work....period.

I swear by my Smith glasses. I'm on my second pair in 10+ years (first pair is in the ocean.) They come with clear, yellow, amber, and dark interchangeable lenses. I've been hit with large bugs, cinders, and rocks and they don't even have a scratch. Their website has a pic of a pair getting hit by a ball-bearing and the lenses aren't even phased.
They're a little pricey but I only have one pair of eyes. I've spent tons more on useless crap...so I guess it's not too much to pay.

Hope this helps.
btw - they are windproof for me.

Dont buy a pair of eye ride. I bought a pair for 50 bucks and they fog up when ever i slow down. They wont even keep the rain out. I emailed them about the problem and they havent replied yet. They are the goggles too.

I've tried Panoptix, WileyX and a couple of other fairly expensive sunglasses whose names I can't remember. On the other end of the spectrum I've tried several of the $6 and $10 variety with and without foam padding and experienced the same results. They didn't fit snug against my face. One day about 6 months ago, while having some service done on the bike, I was poking around around the dealership and tried on a pair of Harley $35 sunglasses with the foam padding and they fit perfect. Go figure. Anyway, I bought two pair. One regular and one clear for night riding. So, Chaos, you might want to give them a try.
