wet seat
It rained about 4 days ago and my seat soaked up a bunch of water, I am still getting water coming out of the bottom seams, is this normal or do I have a defective seat? I have never had this problem before on any bike.

I've never had a seat to soak up water like that. Usually just wipe it off and it's fine.

Mink oil all the cranks rub it in there well and then let it set in the sun. If the mink oil is in there water will not go there. Clean your seat off with some older pants till the mink oil is set.

seat cover are cheap insurance against wet butt, or just buy some assless chaps and gloves with no fingers and enjoy the water sports.
