MAN - THIS is why I don't miss N. Dakota (That and I am originally from Southern California-San Clemente - right on the beach). I hated the winters up there. Now we are in Maryland. So it will be a nice change to see what they are like out here.
I remember Sept. in Minot, ND, we just started bow hunting and it was in the 30's in the morning. Getting just about time to put the bike up for the winter. Up there though, we knew what azzless chaps were and why you needed them!

 

Been there done that for one season when I was station in the Soo,,,I remember wearing my snowmobile suit once while riding to work. I will never have to worry about that again, here in San Diego

 

I know what you mean; it's snowing in Reno, NV also. Winter came to soon this year.

must b a bummer gettin snow so early, we dont get any here im on the south coast, we get rain,must be great to wake up 2 a white world! the weather here has been warm & sunny all week looks dry for w/e unusual but i aint moanin

 

I would certainly appreciate it if you guys out west would keep that dayum snow out there. It's in the low 40's and been raining since last night but at least it's not white!!! I sure am hoping for another weekend or two of riding before the bikes get put away. Last year Hub and a friend and I rode day after Thanksgiving. It was in the 20's but hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!

 

So sorry guys. I'll be thinking of ya on my three day ride this weekend. Like I said, "SO SORRY"!

Snow already? man that blows. We still have a little nice weather left here in Buffalo, not much though. I know its coming, just a matter of time. 43 on the ride in to work this morning
