The trailer idea is good. Sometimes U-haul and other rental places sell older ones.
Check local want adds, Craigs list, E-bay etc. If it says motorcycle in the ad it will probably be over priced, just about any enclosed trailer
can be used to haul a bike with some cheap and easy modifications. A larger trailer will make it easier to park the bike and allow some wrenching room.
I'd get one with swing doors instead of the ramp, they are easier to operate. You can build a semi-permanent ramp for use at home. Get a portable ramp if your going to haul the bike somewhere.
Also, park it with the back end facing out. Remove the wheels and set it on blocks close to the ground. Makes it as easier to use and harder to steal.

Check with your local self storage facility. Some locations offer bike storage. We offer specials in our area for bikers. Our units are all alarmed, dry and secure. We are located in Frederick, Maryland. Check us out www. securitypublicstorage.com Frederick, Maryland.

Just build ramps on both sides of the wall and get Robbie Knievel to park it for you at night!

How wides this gate... Could you strip the bike down and ride it thru??? Seems to be the cheapest solution!

I would see whats not letting you get through the gate like the handlebars or engine guard and take them off and get a friend to help you get the bike through the gate might work.

All good ideas... I appreciate all of them! I'm still searching for a reasonably priced covered trailer, but it sure is tough.

I'll probably have to stick with the CycleShell idea until a deal-of-the-century-trailer falls into my lap. (I'll wear a cup...)

Thanks again everyone!

Use the front room of your house and call it the garage.
