RE: What was your first bike?
Mini bike at 7 but my first real motor cycle (clutch and gears) was a HD x90 followed by a z90 and a SX175 oh yea and that ugly old 350 sprint.
When we would visit the grandparents, Gramps would break out the old Hummer and let us ride it sun up to sundown, thats when you knew you were cool.
You might of guessed from the above list I come from a couple of generations of Harley and Indian freaks.
Mine was blue.

ORIGINAL: English Pete
Igot my first bike in 1969, a 64, BSA C15 (250cc). In those days there was no training, you just got a provisional licence, stuck on a couple of L plates and rode. I didn't have a clue, fell off that bike more times than I care to remember.

Snap!
My first bike too. Must have been in 1969/1970. It had been customised - magenta metalflake frame, white massive fibreglass racing tank, race seat, v loud reverse cone mega, "tuned engine", rear sets and clip-ons. And to complete the race theme - no kickstart so I had to bump start it every time! I can't understand why I just didn't get a kickstart!
It spent roughly the same ammount of time on the road and in bits. Still I learned a lot. The next bike was a 250 Honda!
