Default Victory Motorcycles

Just came back from Bikes, Blues and BBQ in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Could not believe how many people are riding Victory's. They have a Victory dealership in Rogers, AR within a mile of the Pig Trail Harley Dealer. I guess it helps if you have a dealer nearby. 4 cities in the area, Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville (home of Wally World). Nice to see another mainly American made V-Twin in competition with Harley. (but not much)

There's a Victory Dealer down the road from our shop and they make kinda cool looking bikes. I still like the look of HD better but I also herd that Victorys are indistructable. Good none the less to see a choice of American Bikes

At Street Vibrations this past weekend, I sat on a Victory bagger and it was comfy! Much easier to balance than my Harley. Walked away thinking how much I liked the bike. I then slapped myself back to reality... it's a Harley or nothing... I want to say thanks to the nice couple who offered to buy me a drink if I would stop slapping myself. However, when I told them the reason, they joined in on the slap fest!

Several months back I visited Twin Specialties, the local Victory dealer here in Raleigh. I sat on several, including a Vegas Jackpot and was amazed at the balance and comfort. The bike felt lighter than my Dyna.

The dealership owner was showing me the bikes and when I mentioned the balance, he said that is because of the primary being in the right side of the bike. He said Victory bikes have better balance and feel because the weight is distributed more evenly along the centerline of the bike. When I checked the specs, it weighed pretty much the same as my Dyna.

I don't see many Victorys around Chicago. Not many dealers.
