Lets see now.

1. American owed company, American made bike and a parent company with money,
2. More out of the box HP and torque than HD,
3. No overheating issues like HD,
4. No transmission whine,
5. Changing of the belt does not require you to dismantle half the bike,
6. Reliable.
7. Not a lot of dealers (guess we need a place to buy t-shirts)

I dunno but I see more positives than negatives.

Did you look at my signature??? I have a 2006 Jackpot that I've put 12,000 miles on. Did Tail of the Dragon on it recently too. Really a great bike. Needs a bigger front tire though.

I always find it funny all of these guys sayin they'd buy a metric before they'd buy another make of American motorcycle.

American made means very little to me. buying the best of something does - Victory is far from the best, and I'd take some of the metric options over one of them in an instant.

That'd be like if I hit vtec at 6500rpms in my Si civic in downtown Detroit or something similarly blasphemous. Wouldn't turn out good. :/

Right infront of a Chrysler plant maybe.. Better carry extra mags for the car-chase that'd be coming from the outta work UAW hit-men.

Agreed.. I just can't do skinny 21's.. Too used to fat-tire FL's.. And can't get over the flared out Ness'y kingpin fenders.. SHOOOOOO! damn!

Jackpot solution..
Take the front-end of the hammer, put it on a Jackpot.. Now THERE's a bike!
Or just put a Jackpot fender on a Hammer and lower it.. I guess that might be easier.
